you are all so wonderful! I suppose I meant, in my caption to the picture: I have been there. I have felt that kind of angst. Not right now, necessarily, but I have always identified with something in this painting. In fact, I had it up on my wall all throughout college, which often freaked people out :)
College dorm? I knew it looked familiar! My dad once Photoshopped my sister's face into that painting ;-)
That is such a great painting because it means so many things to so many people...
We have all "been there" :)
