What century is this?!

I was diagnosed with Scarlet Fever today. It is essentially a bad case of strep with a rash all over your body. What a crazy thing!! Thank goodness for antibiotics - they prevent it from being serious. I have a high fever, sore throat, tummy issues, and a rash that looks like a sunburn. Where in the world did I get this?!?!

My marvelous doctor said I should feel better in a few days. I will write more when I return to the 21st century.

I'm so sorry, hon! Any idea as to how you caught this? From one of your Sunday school students, perhaps?

Take those drugs and rest as much as possible. This is serious stuff!

And thank G-d you live in the 21st century, not the 19th...no antibiotics back then!

Yikes! What's next, the plague??? Seriously, I hope you feel better. I had a severe case of it in college and it's not fun.

Hi Marci. I'm glad that you found my blog post about my bout with Scarlet Fever, so that now I've been introduced to your blog. I hope you're feeling better now. When I had it, the antibiotics cleared it right up.
